Please take the time to consider the following post I placed which would appear to link the Appleberry and Haynie families. Any input you might have on this would be greatly appreciated.A fair amount of my documentation is posted on Rootsweb's Worldconnect project under username jwhainey.
John William Haynie was known as Goode (pronounced gowd)in anecdotal information from Levens descendants. He is found(as John W.) with his wife and children in the 1900 Census,White Co. Arkansas and also in the 1890 tax roll for same(as Goode). Then found in 1880 Census, White Co., Arkansas living with D. Appleberry and wife Mary. as J.W.Haynie. Then in 1870 census, White Co. living with D? Appleberry and Mary A., Martha and shown as Goode H. Appleberry. Any leads in on how he came to be tied to the Appleberry line and or his birth parents would be very deeply appreciated.
