Jane,send me your e-mail address!Got your message.I still haven't found the Indian connection to the Appleberrys,it might not be with them!The relatives that might have known are now deceased.The Appleberrys of Virginia did own slaves and they would have been listed as property,in wills and government records.Finding Native American ancestry I have found harder to prove,if you had an ancestor that lived on a reservation or was a well known tribal leader it would be easy to find them and their families.Jane,I found this info that may concern you though:Permelia Appleberry married a Cyrus Caldwell on the 9 Nov. 1879 in Montgomery,Tx.Permelia A.
