I've been trying to find you for a while. I'm cousin in Virginia, dau of Regina Gilligan. Changed computers and lost addresses.
I've found parents of William Applegate (With the FHC and a trip to the Salt Lake FHL)!!You many also already have this.They are Lewis and Elizabeth Gildersleeve Applegate of Brooklyn NY, m. 1817.He was vetern of War of 1812.I have a whole lot more on William's family (he was one of Brooklyn's first police officiers), including 1st wife, children, dates, cemeteries,& other Applegates.
He may have been b.in NJ, so we need more info in that family. Excited to hear from you soon,
