Floyd Applegate

I'm looking for any information on Floyd Applegate I belive he was born nov 1861 in IN
he married Sarah Blanch Rose and had a daughter Bertha Applegate born july 5,1902 I know he worked in Alexandria IN as a saloon keeper for a while and then moved to the Ft.Wayne area where Bertha later married Glenn Clark but I have had no luck in finding Floyd's parents or any trace of hime before 1900 Can you help???
