I am interested in tracking Peter Appleton. He was in Warrington, Lancashire, in 1882, where his daughter Mary Ann was married. The 1891 census listed her as 'born at sea', which I have not been able to verify in any british listings. Therefore I do not know where the family may have been travelling to or from around 1862, and have not been able to find other info on the family. In the 1851 Warrington census there is a Peter Appleton aged 15 listed, living with his grandparents, and two of their daughters at 163 Back Stanley St, but I have no other info to link him to the father of Mary Ann.
Does anyone have any further info on Peter Appleton, maybe in Ireland or USA?
