Re: William Appleton Inworth Essex 1733
Sorry I Have not replied to you till now but my computer has been down for a while.
My GT Gt Grandfather Abraham Appleton was a farm Labourer in Essex and moved to Durham looking for work in the coal mines , found work in the coak ovens but did not live long as the fumes from them killed a lot of men working there
Abraham died in Witton Gilbert just out side Durham city in 1878 age 55 he had brought his wife Emma (nee collis) and his young son Charles with him, Charles was left to support his Mother at a very young age.
I am very interested in your Sarah Appleton as I hve a Sarah baptised at inworth at the right time 4th may 1803 in Inworth , Sarah's Parent's are William Appleton and Alice dinnes Married in 1793 at Maldon the only children i have found up till now are Elizabeth 1793 Sarah 1803 Emma 1890.
I would be very grateful for any Information on Appleton's at all and gladly share information with you my e-mail address is email@example.com
Best wishes Dave
