Re: "The Old Appleton Homestead" New Jersey
I am interested in the Richard Appleton who married Martha Ford in 1756. Their children are listed to be John, William, Richard, Abel,James, Thomas,Cornelius, Daniel, Hannah,Phebe, Margaret, Judith.
I found an indenture about a Thomes Savage and his wife Hannah who were selling property to a William and David Appleton of Nottingham in the County of Middlesex,NJ. I am wondering if this Hannah might be Richard's daughter who married Thomas Savage. I am trying to find a Thomas Savage
who was a brother to my John Savage who was the son of William Savidge and Elizabeth Savidge who had six children.
They were Anna who married a Hugh Runyon, William Savage who married an Elizabeth?, John Savage(b 1725) who married Elizabeth Runyon, Richard whose will did not mention his wife, Robert and Thomas that I have not been able to find at all as yet.
I have no idea of who this Thomas is or if there are any children and who they might be.I have been along with several other people wondering whether they could be related to the Thomas Savage and Ann Parker who married in 1767 in Burlington Co. NJ.It could be but I need dates and ares that they lived and this is getting as close as I have ever been. I would appreciate any info that you might have on this Richard's children and where they were born and married if you have it.
Thankyou for any assistance possible. Sarajane Dallas
