Re: Henry & Ann Applewhaite wills IOW, VA

I have dug up everything I have - which isn't much.My grandmother was Etta Jane Luper who married Henry Knox Waller.I am guessing that she was born around the 1880's in Mississippi.I have her obituary from the Lawrence Co. Press in Monticello from 23 Nov 1944 (She was Mrs. E. B. Patterson when she died).In it are named her sisters (Bess, unmarried and Mrs. W. W. Gray) and brothers
(O. C. - possibly a state senator, G. C., C. W., C. A., and Dr. J. C.).
Their father was Julius Albert Luper, born10 Mar 1856.I have no idea where I got that date.I have that Julius was the son of John Calvin Luper and Mary Jane McCloskey - family lore.Julius supposedly married Mary Isabella Applewhite who was the daughter of Woodard and Sarah. I have none of this last bit documented.
I appreciate any help you can give.
