Applewhite (Cherokee, Choctaw and/or Chickasaw)

I am searching for information on Lena Exie Applewhite.She married James Matthew Worbington.She was born in Mississippi and may be part Chickasaw and Choctaw.Her granddaughter believes she may be Cherokee.Any help will be appreciated and/or sites that I may be able to search these tribes.Thank you in advance.
