Arick Family Mystery

Our family bible lists many Arick names, but does not always give relationships.

The first name in the bible is Michael Arick. I do not have a date of birth, or place of birth for him. I do not have the name of his wife. His date of death was recorded in the bible as July 13, 1827 in the Northern Liberties section of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I found him listed in the 1800 and 1810 Census', but I could not locate him in the 1790 or 1820 census'. I checked under all spelling variations I could think of (Arick, Arrick, Erick, Errick, Irick, etc.). I did find a George Arick in the 1790 census in Northern Liberties, but I do not know his relationship to Michael although I suspect they are related. George however disappeared from Pennsylvania in the 1800 census.

My grandmother (Michael's great-great granddaughter) had said that in her recollections, Michael had at least two brothers that she knew of and that their names were Jacob and Leonard, but they were not in Philadelphia. I did however find a Jacob and Leonard in Washington County, Pennsylvania in the 1800 census, but do not know if my grandmother remembered correctly or if indeed these are two of Michael's brothers.

I would like to find out the names of Michael's Parents and
the names of his siblings and his wife. Also I would like to know his date and place of birth and where he is buried. In all of my searching I have not located his grave. Many of the cemeteries in that area have been dug up and bodies have been relocated two or even three times.

I have the names of many of his descendants and would be willing to share that information. There are many of us.

I have been searching for 40 years and I am now at a dead end. Any help would be appreciated.
