January Term 1761 - page 227 #30 - Jacob Hunsinger vs. JACOB ERNEY
July Term 1761 - page 253 #51 = Jacob Hunsinger, assignee, vs. JACOB ERNEY AND LORENCE CRONE
From York County Church Records of the 19th Century - Jacob Lischy’s Private Pastoral Record
Anna Elisabeth, daughter of Jacob Erny and Anna Ursula, baptized March 20, 1761. Sponsors: Wernhardt Sponhauer and Anna Elisabeth.
Michael, son of Werner Sponhauer and Anna Elizabeth, born February 4, 1753. Sponsors: Lorrentz Kron and Anna Ursula
This establishes that Jacob Arney was in York County Pennsylvania in 1760 and 1761 and not in Berks County at that time.It also gives strong indicationthat Jacob Arney and Lorenz Kron were related (I postulate that Lorenz Kron was father of Anna Ursula Arney) I also believe that the Elizabeth who married Werner Spainhower as his second wife, was a daughter of Lorenz and Anna Ursula (Bender) Kron. Previous records have given her maiden name as Lohner. I have never found any evidence of that, and think it is incorrect.
