Thank you Cynthia for your reply.I had received written correspondence stating Jonathan and Andrew Arnold were brothers and had removed to Fayette county PA.On an original survey map of Franklin township, Fayette county PA the following land transaction was given:
Rezin Virgin in right of JOSEPH SNIVELY 323 3/4 Ac. & Allow.Surveyed November 10 (19) 1770 on Order No. 2600.Patented Jan. 27, 1786 to Andrew Arnold on a warrant to accept dated January 24, 1786."Three Springs p. 4. 366.

This piece of property was directly south of a 129 acre piece in Andrew Arnold's name.Rezin Virgin (have seen his first name spelled differently) was the husband of Jonathan Arnold's daughter, Jemima.Jonathan and Rezin both had property in Luzerne township, Fayette county PA.This information would seem to add to the verification that Andrew and Jonathan were in knowledge of one another and probably related.

Do you know of the relationship between Andrew and Jonathan?"The Raymond M. Bell Anthology" of the "The Virgin Family in Washington County, Pennsylvania" says:
Reason Virgin b.: c1744 d1819 Oldtown, Ky m c1771 Jemima Arnold, daughter of Jonathan (d1799 Luzerne Twp) and Sarah Arnold.

I have seen Jonathan's wife listed as Sarah Arnold, Sarah Scott, and Rachel Scott.

Does any of this information fit into what you know?Thank you for any further response.
