Hi!I, too, married an Asaro.

They have family from Mazzara del Vallo. It is a tiny town in Sicily, so any Asaro from there is somehow related. We met up with a Nick Asaro from New Jersey. He has been there and still has family living there. That's how I know it's tiny & we're all related.

Please contact me at my e-mail address below.I may have some info that is helpful to you.My husband doesn't want it all posted as we had someone trying an identity fraud thing a few years back.

The family names you have Vita and Francesco are family names in our family as well. The names are a regional thing, however.Meaning that the names could be common on your Vultaggio and Zinna sides also. You probably know about the Sicilian naming process, too. That always leads to 3 or 4 boy cousins with the same name.

Anyway, e-mail me at [email protected] and hopefully I can help you a little.

Best of luck,Linda E. Asaro
