Will of John ASKEW dc. 1757 in Goochland
The following is an abstract of the Will of John ASKEW, dc. 1757 in Goochland County, VA.
"... this thirtieth day of Dec in the year of our Lord 1756 I John Askew of the County of Goochland ... bequeath to my Dearly beloved Wife Mary, all and singular my moveables [sic] effects & stock ... I also give to my sons John, James & Charles & to my Daughters Ann, Mary, & Catharine one shilling ... each.I also give and bequeath unto my son Anthony Askew whom I appoint my only & sole Executor of this my Last will & Testament, all that Tract of Land, Lying on Wild Boar Creek bounded by Arthur Hayton consisting of one hundred acres ..."
