In the Somerville baptisms of Jacobje Middagh Aten's children; Antje, Dirick, Hendrick and Catholyntje, it is noted, that we see various spellings for the wife of Adrian Aten; "Intje, Jantje, and Jabje."
In particular, I am pleased to see Intje, because arguement is made, that "Intje" is the wife of Thomas and Elsje's Adrian, and that "little is known of them."
Rather, I believe that Jacobje Middagh Aten IS one and the same person, as the mother of all of the listed below baptisms. These match up with her bible entries for her children.
Like-wise I am hardpressed to believe, after seeing these baptismal records, that this Intje IS NOT Jacobje Middagh, married to Adrian Aten, SON of THOMAS ATEN and ELSJE SKILLMAN.
These records clearly show INTJE as the mother of my Dirick Aten, and we know that Jacobje Middagh claims Dirik Aten bap Sept 17, 1721, as her son, in her bible records.
These records clearly show Thomas Aten and Elsje as the godparents of Dirik Aten, and I believe his grand parents.
I make the case, here, that Intje IS Jacobje, AKA, Jantje and Jabje.

Ater, Adriaan and wife--Antie. Witnesses: Pieter and Katalyna Middag. [Oct 14, 1719]
Aerten, Adrian and wife, Intje--Dirck. Witnesses: Thomas Aerten and wife, Elsche. [Sept 17, 1721]
Aaerten, Adriaen and Jantje--Henderick. [Sept 29, 1723]
Aerten, Adrean and Jabje--Catholyntje [March 6, 1726]
Likewise, Aten is spelled(transcribed) Aerten, Ater, Aaerten.
After reading these records, I believe that Dirick Aten, bap. Sept 17, 1721, is the son of Adrian Aten and "Intje", and that Intje is also Jacobje.I see Jabje as Catholyntje's mother........a closer spelling to Jacobje, as we fondly, and more frequently observe.
I must also take account, from viewing these records, that Adrian Aten, father of; Antje and Dirik and Henderick and Catholyntje, appears to be a ?son of Thomas Aten and Elsje [Skillman], and quite well known to his community, with wife "Intje" also known as Jabje, Jantje.
Adrian's ?sister Jannetje Aten Lucas, baptizes a child there also
Lucas, Frans and Jannetje--Maria. [Feb 20, 1723]
The baptismal dates of these children of "Inyje, Jantje, Jabje" Aten, matching with those later recorded by one and the same person, Jacobje Middagh Aten.
