Yes I have gone back somewhat further on the "Atherton" family in Bold and within a few weeks now intend to publish the information online, on a family history site.
If you wish when I do publish my research on the family in Bold, I will email you and give you a link to the site for you to view the information.
There is one further bit of info though I will share with you at this time, regarding Henry Atherton's brother Robert.
Robert died in Bold in 1727, I have a transcript of his Will dated 2 Aug 1727.
One of the bequests he makes to his wife Hannah, is the following and I quote it exactly as written in his will.
"Item.I do give unto her my part of the seat in the new Chappell or meeting house in Hartshaw in Windle to be disposed of by her att death as shee pleases."
From this I take it that Robert Atherton must have been a Quaker.
Let me know if you wish me to contact you when I publish my research.
