Gilbert (or Frank), At your family tree you show Richard Lee d: 1792 Nelson Co., KY as the father of the William Lee who married Margaret Atherton. DNA has shown that not to be true. The William Lee who was with his father Richard Lee in KY by 1783 per his Green Co., KY testimony in 1828 is a different William Lee. Several descendants of the Richard Lee d: 1792 Nelson Co., KY, including a descendant of the William Lee in Green Co., KY, have matched each other, as well as other descendants of William Lee and Dorothy Taylor of Richmond Co., VA.
It appears that David Lee, son of William Lee and Margaret Atherton, has descendants who match Josiah and Hiram Lee descendants, (but not the Richard Lee descendants) as you know by one of your posts.
While research is incomplete for the paper trail from Richard Lee d: 1792 Nelson Co., KY to possibly be the Richard Lee b: ca 1735 Richmond Co., VA, the fact remains that the DNA shows there is no relationship of Richard to the William Lee who married Margaret Atherton; also, they would be near the same age with Richard Lee b: ca 1731-35.
I'm only pointing this out to you so you know you need tolook for the correct family line to William Lee, husband of Margaret Atherton and the widow Sarah Morgan.
