Thank you for your reply.
Your information fits into what I think was history.Unfortunately, it appears that the Audleys used names of dead children on newly born children; and they also recyled the same names over many generations. Apparently, John Audley (1) of the Winthrop Fleet sired John Audley(2) and Hannah Audley, who married Bumstead.Hannah's brother John Audley(2) sired Hannah Audley who married Jonathan Deuel/Davol.This last Hannah Audley and her Jonathan were the parents of the Mary about whom you wrote.
I have worked from only one book (Doherty's Beekman Patent) and from several Internet sources, so I hope that no one takes my interpretation as final. This interpretaion, however, fits the time frame rather well.
I noticed your Mosher last name. The Moshers certainly married heavily into this line.Do you have any Russells in your records?
Thanks again for your help.
Sincerely,
J.Mitchell
