Elizabeth's name and Peter Lalger's name was on a baptismal certificate for a Layer child as sponsers in 1905. I am trying find out if she was family and who she was. It took place at the St Augustine church in Cincinnati, Ohio. Wasn't it customary for one of the grandmothers's tosponsor? And was it the faternal or maternal grandmother?
