Catherine Elizabeth Avis Lapeer, MI

Catherine Elizabeth Avis was born in Mayfield Township, Lapeer County, Michigan on May 26, 1901, where her parents, Edward and Elva, were farmers. Catherine Elizabeth Avis married Max Alexander Mygrants. The couple lived in the Lapeer area and had three children, Donald Raymond, Joan and Yvonne.

Catherine died August 13, 1939 from a ruptured uterus during childbirth. The baby also died. Although living in Jackson, the death occurred while visiting in Lapeer. She is buried in Lapeer, Michigan.

In the notes givin to me says that Edward had a brother who owned a Chevy dealership in Flint and a cousin who founded Avis ret a car company.
