Did your Mary Avis get married at all?The Mary Avis I have for Robert Avis' daughter wasn't born until after 1823, but I have a missing Mary Avis, daughter of Samuel Avis and Ann Mohler who was born between 1817 and 1820.I have one source that states she was one of the first two children born to the above, but I don't know what happened to her and do the census records state that both her parents were born in Virginia?What about an obituary?Have you been able to find one?Maybe we can tie her into this family, but I don't have anything on Mary other than that she DID exist.Where she went, I have no idea.
