Re: Origin of AVIS name????

Dear Michelle Avis,

My father's family originated from Great Missenden, Buckinghamshire, England.I have both Irish and Scotish ancestors.Should any of these names be familiar, please contact me through my e-mail.

My Father is Thomas Basil Gordon Avis-Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina but educated in Little Missenden Buckinghamshire England.he married my mother Katarina Leda Moras.
My father's father or my grandfather was Walter Thomas Walter Avis II who was born and married in England to Gertrude Edith Gothridge from Darby England.
My great grandfather is Thomas Walter Avis I and he married Elizabeth Patricia Humphreys.All of the above were married and raised in Great and Little Missenden, Buckinghamshire, England.
