Thanks for your reply.I have got quite a lot of information re the Avis family.Jennifer Small is my cousin and we share any new information that comes to hand. We have got back as far as Augustus Avis's marriage to Ann Rogers in 1775, but nothing prior to that.I have a scan of the marriage entry in the PRs for Augustus and Ann and I think I have some photos of graves in Swaffham.I'd be happy to share these - my email address is [email protected]
