I have a John Ayers (aug 24, 1844-july 17, 1924) who married a Mary Ann Johnson (oct 10, 1852-feb 10, 1926) who lived around the Orangeburg area in South Carolina.Not sure where they came from or who their parents were yet.Could there be a link here? I have often heard stories of Indian roots in this side of the family.
