Re: AYERS from KY-VA

I am researching the early Ayers/Ayres of Mercer Co, KY.Primary focus is Azariah Ayers from 1796, believed to be from Somerset or Morris Co, NJ, and Joseph Ayers.I do not have much on this Thomas (of Mercer Co), but had previously sen circumstantial information that may tie him to Samuel(?)Ayers, the early silversmith of Lexington, KY.This was a VA family, but I do not have access to my notes at this point.I am interested in hearing from anyone who has intfromation on this Thomas Ayers of Mercer, as well as Joseph Ayers, Azariah Ayers,a nd Jacob Ayers, the early KY surveyor.
