I know this post is over 7 years old, but want to give it a try....

I believe your father is also Joseph Rustenhaven and his father is Richard Rustenhaven, born in Holland Jan. 1864 married to Mary Pape, also born in Holland in May 1864.I am descended through Mary's brother Christian Pape who married Wilhelmina Bouwman in Chicago.The Rustenhaven's came to America in two groups, 1882 and 1883... The Pape's came through in 1880 and 1881 and were mostly in Wisconsin.If interested, please let me know...
