Dear BillWilliam Harrison Bailes is also My Great Grandfather Married Bluford Ann Boley Mar.July 15,1876. She was named for her father Bluford Boley who died while her mother Mary Louise (Howard) Boley was pregnant as they had no sons with the name Bluford she got the name after the death of her mother she reversed the name to Anna Bluford Bailes. She and William are buried at GilGal United Methodist Church Mt,Nebo Nich. Co.. They had 13 Children one of which was my grandmother Malissa Deborah Bailes Mar. Walter Burns Sebert Residence Mt.Nebo. 13 Children are Malissa - Mittie - John -William Stewart - Lewis - Nancy - Allen - Austin - Charles - Lawrence - Ida - Elizabeth and Lundy Bluford. I have a photo made 10-4-1904 of the whole family. Malissa Bailes & Walter Sebert Mar.July 3,1911, Children Pearl (Sebert) Dorsey - Violet Madora (Sebert)Conard - John Harrison Sebert - Lowa Alice (Sebert)Groves - Christy (Chris) Burns Sebert and MY MOTHER CHLOE (CLEO) MARIE (SEBERT) HICKS. All Are Nnow dead except for my uncle John Sebert who lives at Mt.Nebo. Malissa (Bailes) Sebert born March 3,1882 - died May 18,1949 buried Hickory Grove Methodist Church Mt.Nebo. The Nicholas Chronicle Newspaper March 11,1943MRS. ANNA BLUFORD BAILES - Mrs, Anna Bluford Bailes 83, passed away at the home at Mt.Nebo Sunday evening. Funeral services were held at the Gilgal Churh at Mt. Nebo Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 with Rev.W> E.(ministers last name is unreadable) of Hominy Falls officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery with the D.R. Simons Mortuary of Summersville in charge. Surviving are six sons L.D. and J.D. Bailes of Charleston; Charles Bailes Fowlers Knob, Austin Bailes of Summersville, Lawrence and Lundy of Mt.Nebo; five daughters Mrs. Nancy Young, Layland;Mrs.Malissa Sebert,Mt.Nebo;Mrs Mittie Lewis, Fayetteville; Mrs. Ida Dorsey, Summersville; Mrs.Lizzie Dorsey,Middleton Del.;Forty two grandchildren also survive.Two sons died before her. I would be interested in any old obituaries you might have of my grandmother Malissa's brother's and sister's. Mary (Hicks)Driggers daughter of Reginald and Cleo (Sebert) Hicks.
