Anna Bluford (Boley) Bailes was the last child born to Bluford Boley & wife Mary Louise Howard. Her name was Bluford Anna Boley and appears that way on her marriage record and census records after her mother Mary (Howard) Boley died she reversed the names to Anna Bluford. I don't blame her a bit. Her father died from a rupture after carring a pig her mother was preg. with her at the time so she was named after her father. Mary Loise Howard was the Daughter of Robert Howard of Botetourt County Va. She married Bluford Boley September 1, 1835 in Botetourt Co. Va. According to the marriage records for Botetourt she had a sister Elizabeth Boley who married Miles Biggs November 7, 1835. Bluford & Mary Louise (Howard) Boley had the following children - Latischa - Mildred Ann - Henrietta - Rosetta - William - John - Robert - Allen - Silas - Ida Martha - Bluford Anna(My great grandmother she married William Harrison Bailes)
