Re: Alan Watson Bailes, b 5-11-1890, WVa

Dear Tammy, My grandmother Malissa Deborah Bailes married Walter Sebert July 3, 1911 in Nicholas Co. W.Va. she was one of 13 children born to William Harrison Bailes and Anna Bluford Boley also known as Bluford Ann Boley. The Allen Bailes Jr. Killed in WW2 was her nephew and son of her bother Allen Bailes also known as Alan. Written on the back of the Original old Bailes family photo made at Mt. Nebo in 1904 his name was spelled Allen. My mom was Chloe (Cleo) Marie Sebert born 1927 at Mt. Nebo and was the 6th and last child born to Malissa. Spelled Malissa on her tombstone and on my mom's death record but spelled Melissa on other records and spelled Mallisie on her death certificate and Lissa on her birth record. So I guess a lot depends on who was recording the record.
