Wibles of Red Bluff, CA

Yes, some of the descendants of Phoebe Lakey daughter of Jacob Lakey & Phoebe Bailes are the Red Bluff Wibles. Phoebe Lakey md Isaac Van Dyke Wible at the end of the Oregon Trail in November of 1861. They later went to California and settled at Red Bluff. None of the family are living there now, but you'll find Isaac & Phoebe in the Red Bluff Cemetery along with some of their children.
Phebe's mother Phoebe Bailes Lakey Hyden went on to Marion Co., OR in the Willamette Valley and married for a third time S.R. Herrington/Harrington. After his death she went to Ellensburg, WA where she is buried as "Grandma Herrington."
