Your post is VERY old; however, I have a little information rearding Quintus Cincinnatus Lycurgus "Q.C.L." Bailey, b. 1845, GA, m. Oct. 24, 1869 in Buchannan, GA, to Virginia Pocahontus "Jennie" Head, dau. of Dr. Daniel Baldwin and Malissa Arrington Head.
He was the sonof Willaim Hubbard and Cynthia Adaline Chandler Bailey of Gordon Co., GA, and the grandson of Joshua and Elizabeth, dau. of Robert and Nancy O'Hurley Morrow Bailey.Siblings were: Quitman S. b. 1859 m. Mary E. Owens; Mary E., b 1852, Madora Leona b. 1857 m. Henry H. Jolley; Quintillus Gardner b. 1858 m. Jean Cagle; Martha Adaline b. 1861; William Harris b 1865 m. Lela Littlefield; Charles J. M. b. 1869 m. Nettie J. Cox.
In 1882 QCL moved his family to Guntersville, Ala. and was employed as a teacher of English Grammar at the Academy.In 1892 he secured work at the Woodenware Factory in Wyeth City.
