Re: Ananias BAINUM
Lynnette, Do you have a birthdate for Nancy Collins? All I have is abt 1771, that would have made her 33 at the birth of her first child, my inclination would be that she was probably born at least a few years later than 1771, but maybe not. Is there any documentation to confirm a second marriage? My husband is a descendant of Samuel Haslett Cary and Jane Anna Fogle. They moved to Rochester, Sangamon Co. Illinois, so did Jane's mother Phoebe. Phoebe died there in 1884. Samuel and Jane (she actually went by Anna)had one child born in Noble Co OH. Susan Jane b.3/3/1851, the rest were born in Sangamon Co. Before I go on, do you want/need the rest, you may already have it or not care to have descendants. I don't have any thing on the Fogles or Stephens that "everyone else" doesn't have. I know you have been at this a long time, I believe I may have corresponded with you in the past. My relationship calculator says you and my husband are 4th cousins once removed. I have been trying to find Sarah (Sally) Collins parents, so far no luck, not knowing exactly when she was born (I have abt 1799) it may be possible this was her second marriage, it was Eli Cary's second. Somewhere I read that her mother's maiden name may have been Cope. There were both Collins and Cope families in Delaware at that time. I haven't worked on this line for a while, glad to hear from you, Donna P.S. which Fogle sisters do have letters from/to?
