William Baldwin 8/23/07
John Baldwin was not born n Amelia Co., Va., as it was not formed until 1735, when he was a young man.Possibly he was born in Prince George Co., Va., or Brunswick Co., Va., the two counties from which Amelia was formed.
He could not have died "03 July 1770" as his will was dated "July 13, 1770."My rcords show he died between July 13 - Sept. 27, 1770.
Below is an exact wording of the will of John Baldwin, reference: Will Book 2X, Amelia County, Wills 1761-1771; abstracted and compiled by Gibson Jefferson McConnaughy
