Re: Frank Arthur & Gertrude Young Ballou Family

Frank Arthur Ballou was the son of Eleanor Easter King and Henry Moss Crofford Ballouwas born June 17, 1866 in Fillmore County, Minnesota.His marriage to Gertrude Young Dustin, born May 28, 1867 in Prairie City, Iowa, took place on June 7, 1887 in Audubon Iowa where Gertrude resided.For the next seven years they farmed about 1 1/2 miles south of Hamlin, Iowa, moving from there to a farm northwest of Exira.They lived on various farms in that vicinity until 1919 when they moved into Exira, Iowa, where Frank worked until his health failed.They then went to live in Glidden, Iowa where Frank died on Wednesday, June 8, 1938.The funeral rites were conducted and burial took place in the Exira Cemetery.Theirchildren, all born in Audubon County, Iowa were:
