I have found a memorium for Rachel Jenkins-Huffman, a granddaughter of Anna Barbee-Compton, in it her grandson says she was a grand-niece of Andrew R. Barbee and a half-grand-neice of Gabriel Jordan. This answers my earlier question of if Anna and Andrew R. Barbee were related or not.
