Am researching Penelope Barber, dau, John Barber.Penelope married John Spear, most likely in Pitt Co., NC.John Barber's Will was recorded in a Pitt Co., NC Deed Book 25 Oct 1792. Children of John Barber listed: John, Whichard (Richard?), Noah, Penelope, Rachael Briley, Mary Barber. I am seeking information about the Spear/Barber/Griffin connections.These families may have moved together from Pitt Co to several counties in Georgia, including Burke, and then on into Walton, Jackson and Calhoun Cos.
