I took a look at Autosomal DNA. According to FTDNA their Fimaly Finder test that uses Autosomal DNA state it is used "to provide you a breakdown of your ethnic percentages and connects you with relatives descended from any of your ancestral lines within approximately the last 5 generations." Let's see, 5 generations? That would be about 125 years, wouldn't it! Brinsley Barnes was born about 1713. That would mean 125 years or 5 generation would move it up to the year 1838. From 1838 to 2012 means you would have 174 year or a six (6) generation gape!
