Francis Barney/Bernier

I have Francis Barney born 1806, Montreal,Quebec. He died 09 Apr 1892 in Canton, St Lawrence, New York. He and his wife, Jane Clements were the parents of 8 Children that I know of.
I've been through the Barney Forum and have been unable to discover who Francis' parents were.Does anyone out there have this line?Thanks!
