Barney/Rochon

Frederick Rochon and Amelia DePlanty ,French Canadian family were parents of Frederick 1850 Eli 1846 Matilda 1854 Adeline c1856 .
The family was for a time in Monroe Co. N.Y. Some of children were born
There. I next find mother Amelia and daughter Adeline in Marshall Mi. Wiith
Adeline wife to Geo, J Barney.The great historicalorg. There has provided many records & news of the Barney family . Also Barney Family Association Book helped(thanks Cliff!)
GGGrandmother Amelia & daughter Matilda Rochon are buried there.
However there is no trace of the thirdchildFrederick and cannot trace him.
GGrandfather Elias Blase tried to enlist CW 1863 as surname Rochon,underage,1865 enlisted and was wounded and discharged infew
Months but with surname Barney.
1867 married Celestine Tuscany in Mt. Clemens Mi.with name Rochon.Later got Land grant & pension as Barney. ??? Don't know how he did it!
