John A. Barrett and Nancy Barton - Texas

Looking for descendant of John A. Barrett and Nancy Barton, married 08 Apr 1869.They are listed in Precinct 6, Lampasas Co., Texas on the 1880 census.During the late 1890’s there was a Sheriff’s Sale of John’s property (usually the result of back taxes being owed).Nancy then bought property in “her own name.”Both of these events took place in Mason Co., Texas.

Nancy is listed in Justice Precinct 8, Mason, Texas on the 1900 censes as a widow.I have seen a copy of a Bible record indicating that something (died) happened to John in 1902.I have never seen the Bible containing this information.

I would like to exchange information with anyone who descends from this couple.The 1900 census shows that Nancy (Jennie on the census) was the mother of 7 children and that all 7 were alive at the time of the census.The census was recorded 13 July 1900 and Nancy died 14 Jul 1900.
