Am not a subscriber to Ancestry.com.Have had a file on desc. of Reuben Barrett for a long time with several sources (not my line).Sybil McRay of Gainesville, Hall Co, GA, published some info in 1978:"John Barrett's first wife was Milly Rebecca Chastain.She was of French Huguenot stock, the daughter of Abraham Chastain, born about 1743, son of Pierre and Mildred Archer Chastain" (death date not named here but other source says she died about 1809 in South Carolina).John Barrett's second wife was Rebecca Stanton.She was the daughter of Christopher Stanton; she died May 1857.
