St. Charles (Kane County, Illinois) Chronicle, Oct. 11, 1901, Supervisor Bartholomew of Batavia Dead. Henry B. Bartholomew died very suddenly at Batavia at noon yesterday.
He was taken ill Wednesday night. His condition was not considered serious, but he remained in bed. At noon yesterday he was sitting up in bed looking over some correspondence when he suddenly choked and fell over, expiring before medical aid could be secured.
Mr. Bartholomew was about 47 yeas of age. He was one of the prominent republicans of the county, was at one time mayor of Batavia and was a present member of the board of supervisors.
Heart disease is supposed to be the cause of death.(Posted as a courtesy, not related.)
