I would like to know a little more about your Sarah Jane. We have a few Sarahs in the family and I can't find one married to an Ansley. If I had a birth date for her, I could see if she might be the daughter that we just have a birth date 1847 from the bible page of Isaiah and Elizabeth Bartlebaugh.I could not find on my 1880 census cds this Charles Ansley with wife Sarah. But did find one from Chester, Delaware, Pennsylvania

Now there is a James Ansley living with a wife Sarah in Indiana Co. where I thought I had a record of most Bartlebaughs. No Charles Ansley showed up for Clearfield. This Sarah below would have been born about 1820.But there are Blair County Bartlebaugh that come from the brother of our John.

Do you have any more information about this Sarah Jane? Then maybe we can figure out if we should check the line of John or Philip. We think that all Bartlebaugh can be trace to these two brothers. We are trying now to find their parents. There is a good chance that John and Philip had a name change.Bartenbach or Bardenbach looks possible but no real proof yet.
