I must tell you that I did not look up these men in the 1860 census again today, but I did look in the 1870 Carroll County census.There was a Haywood Bartlett on page 187, age 31, born in Ga. Sarah, age 30, Mary 12, Sarah 9, Haywood 7, William 6, Thomas 3. I cannot tell you anything else about this man, nor do I have any theories, but I hope this info helps someone.
