Hello,
I read your question, and think I may have some information to help you.
A preamble, though. I've just started re-compiling Bartlett History, and my source book is a amateur booklet written by our family some time ago. I do not swear on it's accuracy, but I did find some of the information complimenting your information as well Mr. Bartlett's.
I am part of the Bartlett family from Harrison County WV, decendents of Thomas Bartlett from Fauquier, Virginia. Thomas Bartlett, Jr. moved to Western Virgina around 1785, now called Harrison County. He and his son Sterling built a flat boat and reportedly traveled between Fairmont and Clarksburg.
Sterling married Catherine Allen, and had two daughters, Scarlett and Rebecca, who accordingly to our records died in Tennessee. He erected a home six miled north of Clarksburg (Erie) and had ten more children. Those children, according to our records, include Louisa, Montraville, Love, Allen, John Allen, Thomas, Alburtus, although the other children aren't named in our records.
I will be rewriting most of this booklet, so let me know if you are interested in any more information.
