I have a photo of Capt. N (not sure if it is N.) Bartlett. He is an older man, white beard, dressed in a top hat, white shirt, tie, long overcoat, walking cane, with a cigar in his mouth. On the back: "Capt. N. (?) Bartlett owner of the Floating Palace Uncle Sam of Cleveland Ohio with his magic cane with which he told fortunes".
This photo was in the photo album of Lucy Mariah nee Bartram-Cook (1834-1917). I am related to the Cook family line but have no idea who this Capt. Bartlett is. For this wonderful picture to be in Lucy's photo album he, I ASSUME, was related to either the COOK or BARTRAM family.
If anyone can shed light on this puzzle please post your reply on this site.
