I still search for the mother and father of Michael L. Wilson's parents. Anyone out there have a Susannah Wilson born in 1849 of Washington Township Delaware. I am looking for the daughter of Michael L. Wilson and Sarah Ann (Bartlett)Wilson,My hope are that it might lead me to the father and mother of Micael L. Wilson. Sarah Wilson's line ran back through the Bartletts - to a Boaz Flemmings & Elizabeth (Hutchinson) Flemingof Kent County Delaware.
David Burgess was listed in the 1850 census; he was listed directly under Michael L. Wilson's family. Burgess's land according to a plat map bordered Michael L. Wilson’s property.
A falling tree killed Michael L. Wilson in 1862, David Burgess was appointed guardian of Michael L. Wilson’s children at least in 1868, where he petitioned the sale of Michaels farm.
Sarah (Bartlett) was the wife of Michael L. Wilson; she married a Friemood from that same area about one year after Michael’s death.
Sarah (Bartlett) Wilson divorced Friemood, and married an Othe Hendrixs somewhere around 1866, they came to Knoxville, Marion County, Iowa in a covered wagon driven by oxen. Othe parents were already pioneers in Iowa around 1849.
My objective is to find the father of Michael L. Wilson. My thoughts and hopes were, just perhaps this David Burgess may have married a Susannah Wilson born in 1849, there by making him the son-in-law to Michael L. Wilson and Sarah (Bartlett) Wilson.
