I have Sarah BARTLETT WILSON FRIMOOD HENDRICKS ancestry back to Thomas BARTLETT c1705-1783 & Elizabeth of Richmond Co, VA.
Her brother, Boaz BARTLETT b c1815, is listed two entries before Michael WILSON in the 1850 Delaware Co, IN census.
Another brother, David BARTLETT b c1819 married a Deliah WILSON - she died in 1851 after having two children - I haven't found them in the 1850 census yet, but David is with his second wife in the 1860 and 1870 Delaware Co, IN censuses.
Note that the 1850 entry for Michael WILSON:
Delaware Co, IN (Dist 24): Michael L WILSON 38 Farmer b KY; Sarah A 24; Benjamin 60 b VA; Elsa (m) 23 b VA; Robert 3; David M 2; Susannah 1; ch b IN
also includes Benjamin WILSON b c1790 VA and Elsa b 1827 VA - I would GUESS that Benjamin was Michael's father, and Elsa was his brother.(Sarah had a younger brother: Elza BARTLETT b c1830 living in Delaware Co, IN in 1860)
I would also GUESS that David BURGESS's wife Elizabeth b c1826 was a sister to Michael WILSON, being only 1 year younger than Elza who lived next door. That would explain why they took in Michael's children.
Several other siblings of Sarah BARTLETT W F H married GILLILANDs and lived in the area.
The parents of these BARTLETT siblings were Benjamin BARTLETT and Elizabeth FLEMING who were married c1815 Monongalia Co, VA, and lived in Harrison Co, VA before moving to IN.There were also several generations of Benjamin WILSONs in Harrison Co, VA in the early 1800s - I'd look there for more on the WILSON family - there are several records that include both a Benjamin WILSON and BARTLETTs.
Please let me know if you find anything else.I descend from this BARTLETT line, so we are probably cousins;>j
