Looking for cousins! My line form Medway has always been dead end.Here is my line:
George W Bartlett is born in Salem (according to childrens birth records) or Marblehead (according to his death record).It was either abt 1815 (according to death record) or abt 1822 (according to various census records). On his death record it states him as being the son of Augustus Bartlett.Augustus is a dead end.
On may 05, 1842 George married Rebecca Woodward, daughter of Royal Woodward. On record they are listed as both of Newton. Rebecca was born in the Newton - Needham area in 1824. They were married in Canton, and their marriage intention in Newton was April 03, 1842.
Their children are as follows: (first two born in Canton and the rest in Medway) ANNETTE BARTLETT: February 05, 1844 GEORGE WASHINGTON BARTLETT: December 26, 1846 MARY ELIZABETH BARTLETT: February 11, 1850 FRANCIS BARTLETT: December 01, 1851 -- January 20, 1853 WARREN FRANCIS BARTLETT: March 01, 1854 SYLVESTER BARTLETT: February 04, 1856 ANDREW JACKSON BARTLETT: April 19, 1858 FREDERICK BARTLETT: December 17, 1861 BRADFORD BARLTETT: ???????? ??, ????
George died September 02, 1885.He had been residing on Cottage Street in West Medway. Rebecca died November 13, 1879 in West Medway.
On several death certificates burial is listed as Evergreen Cemetery in West Medway, or just West Medway.I have not been there, but a trip is in the works.
