I've recently uncovered some family genealogy and hope someone can add to it for me. As a young child, I would occasionally stop and see my 'aunt Susi' when we visited relatives in St Stephen, NB, Canada. She died when I was 11 and I never really knew who she was. When I started doing genealogy recently, I was hoping to learn more. I JUST came across her obit written by my grandmother, Mildred Kimball, back in 1962. I was hoping there might be someone in the Bartlett Forum who could fill in the blanks for me. Apparently my 'aunt Susi' was Anna S.Bartlett Morrell, b:March 29, 1878 in Bartlett's Mills , NB,Canada, eldest child of Edward and Frances Bartlett, and older sister to Hollis and Lewis. She taught at Oak Haven School and the school in Chamcook, until she married Mr Morrell in 1901. She and Mr Morrell had at least two daughters,Marion (m:William Manning) and Frances (m: George Hyslop), seven grandchildren and eighteen ggrandchildren.
If anyone can add to this list, I'd SO appreciate it. I definitely havea LONG LINE of Bartletts in my lineage, starting with Edmund Bartlett b:1540 Sussex England, through Richard b:1575 England, Christopher b:1623 Eng,Christopher b:1655 MA, Christopher b:1679 MA, Jonathan b:1719, Caleb b:1755 New Hampshire, Leonard b:1779 Maine,Mary C b:1808 who married Issac Greenlaw in 1827.
I'm not sure where my Aunt Susi's family line comes in there...Where does her father, Edward, descend from? ...can anyone help? Thanks. Barb in CT
